Mad About You was a hit 90s show starring Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt. It had a great cast of side characters including an absent-minded and sometimes rude waitress who never remembered her customers - even regular ones. The actress playing the waitress got hired as one of the main leads on another show on the same network. The creators of the new show decided to have some fun with this and made their character the twin sister of the waitress from Mad About You. Identify this show. One of the first shows in 1987 on the newly-launched Fox network was the eponymous Tracey Ullman Show. Producer James L Brooks wanted some variety on this show and commissioned a set of animated shorts. There were 48 of them during the run of the Tracey Ullman Show. The spin-off however has had the biggest impact on pop-culture and made Fox network a massive hit amongst viewers (and a very viable acquisition for Disney eventually).
